About Me
My passion for sports broadcasting began at a very young age. Growing up in Western Pennsylvania, I was privileged to grow up listening to legendary broadcasters Mike Lange (Pittsburgh Penguins) and Bill Hillgrove (Pittsburgh Steelers).

Their passion and unique style captured my fascination and forged my desire to pursue a career in sports media. So much so that at 14 years old, I spent a season in the broadcast booth as Richland High School Football's statistician and halftime show host. I was hooked. Years later, my pursuit of a career in sports media took me to Pittsburgh for a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Reporting from Point Park University.

My professional career began shortly after graduation when I was hired by The Hockey Podcast Network as host of their Pittsburgh Penguins show Tip of the Ice-Burgh.

Since then, I've met and learned from many tremendous broadcasters and producers while honing my craft on the air and behind the scenes. You can find more details of my journey below.

Future Voices of the Booth
March 2019
Following a Penguins vs. Capitals game in 2018, I had the incredible honor of speaking to Penguins play-by-play announcer Steve Mears as part of the “Future Voices of the Booth” Program. Getting the opportunity to speak to someone with such incredible insight into the sports broadcasting field was tremendously inspiring.
Ken Lantzy Finest 40 All-Star Game
June 2018
I spent a week interning for the Ken Lantzy Finest 40 All-Star Classic 2018. The "Ken Lantzy Game" is a high school football game for schools in the LHAC, Heritage, and West Pac conferences in Western Pennsylvania. It was an unforgettable experience working with the players and coaches throughout the week, where I gained valuable experience in media relations, social media, and event management.

IBS Conference
February 2018
I was fortunate enough to spend spring break 2018 in New York City at the IBS (Intercollegiate Broadcasting System) Conference for radio broadcasters. This trip provided tremendous education about radio broadcasting. We also toured WNYC, WQXR, and the Paley Center for Media. This trip was an incredible learning experience that taught me lessons I continue to use in my work today.
